Product Offerings
As a result of this class, the participant understand various curl types, the purpose of the hair analysis/consultation, how to select the correct MIZANI professional Conditioning or Chemical process for the hair and scalp, and its relationship to proper application and usage of maintenance products. The participant will gain the key product information to enable effective product recommendation for service as well as maintenance and will understand how to increase their revenue via product retailing.
THE STRAIGHT ON TEXTURE
Chemical and non-chemical straightening alternatives
Stylists will gain the tools to perform a successful relaxer service and thermal straightening service. The participant will be introduced to advanced styling techniques to include thermal styling for curly hair. They will be able to confidently re-shape the fabric of curly hair chemically or non-chemically while easily working with a client’s lifestyle and activities.

Chemical relaxing and texturizing straightening alternatives
Stylists will have the tools to perform a successful relaxer service as well as chemical texturizing service. The participant will be introduced to advanced styling techniques to include thermal styling for curly hair. They will be able to confidently re-shape the fabric of curly hair chemically while easily working with a client’s lifestyle and activities.
CUT AND STYLE TEXTURE
Each participant will be able to recognize elements of hair sculpting as they relate to shapes, proportions, angles and visual relationship to the individual client. They will be able to thermally re-shape the fabric of curly hair while easily working with a client’s lifestyle and activities.
EMBRACE THE NATURAL CURL!
This educational opportunity will comprehensively introduce the Mizani stylist value proposition, including the Mizani Natural Curl Key where the stylist will gain understanding of various curl patterns, the uniqueness of the Naturally Curly client and how to service with Mizani True Textures products and other appropriate treatments. Participants will cover proper hair analysis/consultation techniques, all Mizani product offerings focusing on professional conditioning for natural hair and the scalp including Mizani Renew Strength, Mizani Moisturfusion and Mizani Scalp Care systems.
SERVICING THE NATURALLY CURLY CLIENT
As a result of this 3 hour interaction, the participant will be able to understand the Mizani Natural Curl Key, various curl types, the purpose of the hair analysis/consultation, features, benefits and usage of the Mizani Thermasmooth System, Mizani True Textures product line, and Mizanis new styling product choices. The participant will take away an understanding of the curly hair client and key styling and maintenance tips for the client who is natural or transitioning.
